Saying Goodbye to A Very Special Teacher
The students in the grade 4 / 5 class have been just bursting with excitement for a few weeks because they have been secretly planning a BIG SURPRISE for someone!!
Their teacher, Mr. Jones is retiring this year and the students, along with some of their parents, have been organizing a surprise party for him – in class. They had a little help from Mr. Passi in luring him into the library for the big ‘surprise’ shout. Nobody was sure what made the biggest hit – the cake that the students were eyeing or the very stylish wind suit that they had specially ordered for Mr. Jones. Mr. Jones has been a very strong promoter of our Anti-Bullying campaign, therefore the students had the official ‘anti-bullying’ crest displayed on the back of the wind jacket. Everyone joins in congratulating Mr. Jones on his much deserved retirement and good luck in the future!
