NIPIGON OPP CONTINUE TO INVESTIGATE FATAL COLLISION
NIPIGON, ON –Nipigon Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) continue to investigate a fatal motor vehicle collision that occurred on Saturday, October 2, 2010 at approximately 4:00 p.m.
The driver of an eastbound tractor trailer unit lost control at Hwy 17, Township of Lett, causing the vehicle to leave the roadway and enter the North ditch of the highway. The 33 year old male driver, Sriahilandathar SRIGNANAKATHIRGAMANA, of Toronto, Ontario was transported to Nipigon Hospital where he died as a result of injuries sustained in the collision.
Police continue to investigate the cause of the collision.
