At a November 2009 OPP vs. MHS game, then Jr. Volleyball star Tessa Lanteigne was 'held up' as law enforcement tried to secure a win.
MANITOUWADGDE, ON – Wednesday, February 23rd, law enforcement will face off against local teens for a fun game of pick up volleyball. Youth Justice Committee Coordinator Isobel Nobel has organized many of these fun games in recent years both against the High School students and senior elementary school students, as an opportunity for kids to get to know their local law enforcement officials and realize that they are regular people who know how to have fun. Staff and parents/guardians are invited to the Manitouwadge high School gymnasium, wednesday at 3:30 to cheer on their favourites.
There will be no official teams, just plenty of fun and some good volleyball action. There will also be a free draw for the players.
