Schreiber Families in the Kitchen
SCHREIBER, ON – February 9th at the Recreation Center in Schreiber, a group of Holy Angels School caregivers and children gathered to cook and eat dinner together.
When we introduce children to cooking and encourage them to help out in the kitchen, we are saying, “You are a big help, you can do this and you are important.”
Families that eat dinner together is an excellent way to build relationships, encourage each other and gain many unexpected and welcome benefits to family life. The good food that you end up eating is a bonus.
This program was sponsored by the Schreiber Recreation Department and the Thunder Bay District Health Unit .
