LIFE AT OUR LADY OF LOURDES CATHOLIC SCHOOL

MANITOUWADGE, ON – It was a very sad day in December, when we first heard of Catherine being diagnosed with Leukemia. Within a few days, two grade five girls, who are former classmates of Catherine, launched the first initiative to reach out to this little girl whose life was suddenly threatened by such a serious illness. Mariah Campbell and Camryn Clark invited the students at Our Lady of Lourdes to contribute to a gift box to cheer up Catherine, and to let her know that we care. The attractively decorated box was placed in the school foyer, and little by little, got filled with gifts of books, note pads, stuffed animals, treats and get well wishes.
