Aboriginal Writers Panel To Explore Meaning of ‘The Land’

WINNIPEG, MB – Tuesday, April 12, the  URBAN SHAMAN Comtemporary Aboriginal Art Gallery of Winnipeg will host a discussion, organized by Manitouwadge native Ryan Duplassie, titled ‘The Land‘. Panelists, which include Marilyn Dumont, Rosanna Deerchild, Jennifer Storm, Warren Cariou, Duncan Mercredi, and David Groulx will explore the meaning of ‘the land’ in Aboriginal Literature.

The evening will be an enriching experience for all those interested in Aboriginal Literature; be they readers, aspiring writers and artists or students of Aboriginal Culture wanting to better understand Native Arts and the strong influence that the land has had on Aboriginal writers.
