It almost seems surreal that we are already in our sixth month of being in business. It seems like just yesterday that we opened our doors and served our very first customer. With over 1000 members in our system and over 3000 rental items in our inventory, we have grown significantly since that first day. Look for some pictures and interesting facts later in the article. For now, let’s have a look at the ten new releases set to release this week (Tuesday, May 24th);

Gnomeo and Juliet: The neighboring gardens of Montague and Capulet are at war, but the gnomes, Gnomeo and Juliet, are in love. (Family/Kids) (DVD and Blu Ray)

For the Gamers:

No new games this week, but be sure to pick up a copy of LA Noire if you haven’t already done so. We are down to our last couple of copies for PS3 and 360. This game has been a hot sale and rental item since it released last Tuesday!

For those of you who have not had the opportunity to visit our store, please check out the following pictures. The pictures show a few views of different parts of our store including the checkout area, the Previously Viewed movie section, the Blu Ray section, Game Section, vending area and candy racks. Our store is quite large at 4800 square feet (most of it now filled with movies and games!).

Interesting Facts:

I thought it would be neat to check our database and compile a list of our top 20 movie rentals since we opened. Here is the top 20 list in its entirety:

More Interesting Facts:

  • We have done over 10,000 transactions since opening
  • We have made over 14,000 rentals of movies and games
  • We have sold over 5,000 candy and snack items
  • We have sold 90 posters
  • We have over 1030 customers
  • We have a member registered from Frost, Texas

It is our hope that we can add even more interesting facts to this list over the next 6 months and on our 1 year anniversary we’ll compile another list to see how things have changed…

It has been a blast so far! Thank you to everyone who has stepped foot in our store. We genuinely appreciate your business!

Have a safe week and don’t forget to support your local businesses!
