FIRST ANNUAL WAWAPALOOZA MUSIC FESTIVAL
WAWA, ON – Looking for a cool way to spend a hot summer day this summer? Come to Wawa, Ontario, to attend Wawapalooza, a one-of-a kind music and street festival this July. Wawapalooza includes 17 awesome musical acts covering ten diverse musical genres playing at eight unique Wawa venues over two spectacular days and all you need to attend is one affordable all-access pass.
On Friday, July 22nd, ticket holders can visit any or all of the six hot Wawa Restaurants and Bars hosting musical acts like The Paper Makers, The Rattlesnake Choir and the Pigott Brothers. Also, singer/songwriter Dan Hill will be making a special guest appearance at Wawapalooza on Friday night but seating is limited to 160 persons, so you need to get your ticket right away to enjoy this exclusive concert.
Wawapalooza takes music to the street on Saturday, July 23rd with free festivities for the entire family. The Downtown Street Festival features the Beatlers, a Beatles Cover Band from Toronto playing outside, along with children’s games, a collector car show, sidewalk sales, local crafters and you can cool down inside the beer gardens. With great food and music, your friends and family will enjoy a great day at the Downtown Street Festival and might even find that item on sale you were looking for.
Saturday night, all the fun moves inside the Wawa Arena for those 19 years of age and over. Hot rockers Helix and the two-time Juno award winner Hawksley Workman will end Wawapalooza with outstanding performances sure to get everyone dancing the night away.
