CLUAH Deadline Extended

WAWA DISTRICT (MNR), ON – Outdoorsmen & women from the Wawa District may be releived to learn that the deadline for submission of comments regarding the Crown Land Use Atlas Harmonization (CLUAH) Project options has been extended for 7 days. OntarioNewsNorth.com thanks Dino Tarini of White River for calling in this morning, Saturday, September 3rd to share the news he had learned of on the Ontario Environmental Registry.

The registry had the following notice posted September 1st:

This notice was first published to the Environmental Registry November 3, 2006 at the Invitation to Participate stage for a 45 day comment period. It was republished November 19, 2008 at the Public Review of Preliminary Management Options/Draft Plan stage for a 47 day comment period. It was republished on July 14, 2011 at the Public Review of Preliminary Management Options stage for a 49 day comment period. It was republished on July 20, 2011 to add web links to supporting documents. It was republished September 1, 2011 to extend the comment period to September 8, 2011. An error occurred during the reposting on September 1, 2011 and as a result the comment period ended early. The notice was republished September 1, 2011 for the remaining comment period of 7 days.

Those who have yet to submit their comments regarding the project can do so online at the registry by CLICKING HERE and using the SUBMIT COMMENT button found on the right of the page.  If you would like assistance in doing so or clarification regarding any of the aspects of the CLUAH project the following government offices have additional information (also the offices with whom you can arrange a viewing of related documents/maps/ect.):
