School Spirit is alive at MPS as students and staff dress it up in style for JERSEY DAY. Photo MPS
MANITOUWADGE, ON – Yesterday, March 8th, the halls and classrooms at Manitouwadge Public School were abuzz with football players, hockey players, and representatives of all kinds of sports as students wholeheartedly participated in this week’ Theme Day..
Two of our young leaders – Chelsea Malakoff and Kennedy Quade under the guidance of Ms. Aguiar – have been stirring up enthusiasm throughout the school by organizing theme days; this week Thursday was Jersey Day. Staff members also got in on the fun as well, donning their favourite team’s jersey for the day to show their School Spirit as well.
Expressing and experiencing ‘team spirit’ goes a long to becoming well-balanced and well-disciplined individuals – which is just one more quality that MPS is working to promote in our young students.
