Terrace Bay Hosts 95th Annual Municipal League

TERRACE BAY, ON – From March 1-3, the Township of Terrace Bay hosted the 95th Annual Thunder Bay District Municipal League Conference. The conference had over 70 attendees from throughout Northwestern Ontario.
This was the first time Terrace Bay has been able to hold a conference of this type thanks to the newly built Cultural Centre. The Municipality plans on using the success of this event to attract more conferences to Terrace Bay. Conferences are viewed as an important driver of the local economy with attendees spending in the Community.
Delegates from the conference remarked how impressed they were with the Municipality including the hospitality and friendliness of the residents and businesses.
