WHITE RIVER, ON – Elgin Street was lined with children of all ages Saturday morning in anticipation of the 2012 Winnie the Pooh Festival Parade, an annual event that attracts residents from across the region. The theme for the 2012 Poohfest parade was ‘carnival’ and people went over and above decorating their floats

Parade viewers were very exited to see Algoma-Manitoulin MPP Michael Mantha among those entered in the parade; Mantha had decorated his truck and through candy to bystanders along the parade route. As is tradition, muscle cars and vintage hot rods pulled up the rear of the parade as they would end their route at the A&W for a ‘Show and Shine”.
