What do you get when you take virtually every action movie star and get them together to make a movie- The Expendables! After making 275 million dollars at the worldwide box-office, the producers of The Expendables determined that a sequel was in order, which brings us to this week and the release of The Expendables 2! Sylvester Stallone is back at the helm with an impressive cast in an all new action packed adventure headlining this week’s batch of new releases.

There are six releases in total. Here is a brief synopsis of each;

NEW RELEASES DVD & BLU-RAY

The Expendables 2: starring Sylvester Stallone, Arnold Schwarzenegger, Jean-Claude Van Damme and many more– Church and his crew re-unite for what should be a routine mission. But when one of his men is murdered on the job, the routine mission turns into a quest for revenge. (Action) (DVD and Blu-Ray)

Stash House: starring Dolph Lundgren– A married couple move into their dream home but soon discover that the walls are filled with drugs, and a group of ruthless criminals are on the hunt to get their stash back. (Thriller) (DVD)

Peace, Love and Misunderstanding: starring Jane Fonda, Catherine Keener and Chace Crawford– An uptight lawyer takes her two teenagers to her hippie mother’s farmhouse for a family vacation where romances blossom and relationships kindle. (Comedy/Romance) (DVD)

Santa Paws 2: The Santa pups and Mrs. Claus race to save Christmas after people start losing their Christmas spirit. (Family/Kids) (DVD and Blu-Ray)

Alter Egos: During a time when superheroes have lost government funding and public support, a superhero meets a girl who claims that she can help him overcome his own emotional crisis. (Comedy) (DVD)

Bringing Up Bobby: starring Milla Jovovich and Bill Pullman– A lifelong con artist moves her son to a conservative neighborhood in Oklahoma in an effort to build a better future, but it doesn’t take long for her past to catch up with her. (Comedy/Family) (DVD)

FOR THE GAMERS

Hitman Absolution– Agent 47 finds himself at the center of a dark conspiracy and must embark on a journey through a corrupt and twisted world in an effort to clear his name. Available for PS3 and Xbox 360.

MOVIES FOR MANITOUWADGE

Ever since we’ve opened, we’ve had customers from Manitouwadge coming through our doors and saying that they wished that they could rent movies from us in Manitouwadge. For a while, we were working on a delivery system, but that idea ended up running into too many roadblocks. We’ve finally found the ideal solution!
