Movie experts could never have predicted that a foul-mouthed teddy bear would be the star of the unexpected hit movie of the summer! Seth McFarlane (of Family Guy fame) lends his voice to Ted, the teddy bear in the movie of the same name. Mark Wahlberg stars as his owner in the movie that stunned critics and made a whopping 219 million dollars in the theatres this summer! Now, Ted makes his DVD and Blu-Ray debut alongside a slate of five other titles.

Below is a brief synopsis of each title;

NEW RELEASES: DVD/BLU-RAY

Ted: starring Mark Wahlberg and Mila Kunis – Eight year old John’s wish comes true when his teddy bear comes to life and becomes his best friend. Fast forward into the future and Ted is foul mouthed party animal who is putting John’s relationship to the test. (Comedy) (DVD and Blu-Ray)

The Bourne Legacy: starring Jeremy Renner and Rachel Weisz – After sensitive documents are leaked to the media, a team of government officials race against the clock to shut their Black Ops operations; which means locating a man who is unknowingly a part of their plot. Ice Age Continental Drift: featuring the voices of Ray Romano, Denis Leary and John Leguizamo – Manny, Diego, and Sid embark on an adventure after their continent is set adrift. Using an iceberg as a ship, they encounter sea creatures and battle pirates as they explore a new and unfamiliar world. (Family/Kids) (DVD, Blu-Ray and 3D Blu-Ray)

Backwards: starring James Van Der Beek- When a competitive 30 year old rower fails to make the Olympic team for the second time, she takes a coaching job at a school but struggles to adjust to life off the race course. (Drama) (DVD)

V/H/S: starring Calvin Reeder and Lane Hughes – When a group of individuals are hired by an unknown third party to burglarize a house and locate a rare VHS tape, they discover more found footage than they bargained for. (Horror) (DVD)

Dead Season: starring Scott Peat and Marissa Merrill – After a worldwide viral outbreak leads to a plague of zombies scouring the earth for the living, two survivors flee the chaos of America to a remote island, hoping for a chance to start a new life. (Horror) (DVD)

FOR THE GAMERS

The Walking Dead: Based on the extremely popular TV show, this game recently won a “Game of the Year” Award at the Spike Video Game Awards ceremony. This oneis a must for any gamer who is a fan of the TV show! Available for Xbox 360 and Playstation 3.
