MANITOUWADGE, ON – A dozen Grade 1 through 6 students wishing for holiday time with their peers from school (and friends from other local elementary schools) enjoyed 5 days of fun, experiments, theme days and more last week during ‘March Break Camp’ held at the Manitouwadge Recreation Centre Auditorium.

Hours were changed from previous years as children were able to attend from 8:30am to 4:30pm (including through lunch hour) providing a great option for parents who work full time needing childcare during the break.

It was an action packed week as the kids also enjoyed skating, making their own soap, smores and pizza on pyjama day and a plethora of other activities.  If your child would enjoy participating in this type of event, watch the Northern Ontario Calendar for details of Summer Playground which offers much of the same educational, social and physical activities to benefit participants.
