MANITOUWADGE, ON -Tonight in Manitouwadge a very SPECIAL performance is being presented by Nite on the Town Entertainment Series of the Arts… Chair person Natalie Labbee has long promissed attendees and series ticket holders that, if the opportunity arose, or if she could find a way to make it work, she would bring children’s entertainers to Manitouwadge. Unfortunately this is very difficult for a number of reasons, not least of which are; our location, the lack of any neighbouring communities having a series of their own (of any kind other than Geraldton) or funding (the adult series receives SIGNIFICANT funding from provincial and federal sources as well as many corporate sponsors to offer seats which are in large part subsidized and in spite of this Labbee is always working overtime to promote the show and ensure minimum attendance is maintained to keep the series alive from one year to the next). However, as is her style, Labbee has ignored the barriers, overcome the challenges and tonight, Monday, April 15th, the Motus O Dance Theatre will perform Circus Terrifico at the Manitouwadge High School
The show promisses to be one which adults and children of all ages are sure to enjoy! Doors open at 6:30 with the show beginning at 7pm there will be no intermission and so little ones can return home for a reasonable bedtime.
