Freezing rain warning for Wawa – Pukaskwa Park – White River – Dubreuilville
Some freezing rain early this morning.
Another late season winter storm will track across Northern Ontario today. Snow associated with this system has been falling throughout the overnight hours west of Lake Superior and has spread into the northeastern portions of the province early this morning. Snowfall amounts of 2 cm or less are expected, as the snow is forecast to quickly change to ice pellets then freezing rain. A couple of hours of freezing rain are likely this morning before temperatures rise and a transition to some rain occurs.
Travellers are urged to use extra caution as untreated surfaces will become icy in some areas.
