Marathon And Wawa Graduates Recognized At 2013 Convocation In Marathon Today

MARATHON, ON – 10 students from the Northshore and Wawa Campuses of Confederation College crossed the stage today in Marathon at the 2013 Convocation Ceremony, to signify and celebrate the completion of their academic programs. In attendance were family and friends of the students as well as staff and faculty from Confederation College.

Programs from which the students graduated from were:

  • Business – Accounting,
  • Business – Human Resources,
  • Office Administration – General,
  • Early Childhood Education,
  • Personal Support Worker

There are more than 1350 students graduating from Confederation College programs this year across northwestern Ontario.

President Jim Madder who presided over the ceremonies shared his congratulations with the students, “We are extremely proud of the students who graduated today as they should be of their personal success” said Madder.

Tabatha Broom was one of the successful graduates from the Northshore Campus. She graduated from the Personal Support Worker program and has found employment in her field – CLICK HERE for her story.

Robert McCoy, who graduated from the Wawa Campus Business – Human Resources program, was the recipient of the Campus Award of Excellence.
