Robert De Niro and John Travolta are two of Hollywood’s most notable actors. Travolta made his big screen debut in the early 70’s while De Niro’s first film credit dates all the way back to 1965. With so much experience between them, one would think that they would have appeared in the same movie once or twice over the years- that’s not the case- until now. It took until the year 2013 for De Niro and Travolta to appear in the same movie, and that movie releases on DVD and Blu-Ray this week. Killing Season is just one of seven titles in total this week.

Here is a brief synopsis of each;

Epic: featuring the voices of Collin Farrell, Amanda Seyfried and Josh Hutcherson – A teenager finds herself transported to a magical forest where a battle between good and evil is taking place. Scary Movie 5: starring Charlie Sheen and Ashley Tisdale– A couple begin to experience some unusual activity in their home after the arrival of their nieces and nephew. Killing Season: starring Robert De Niro and John Travolta – A war veteran living in a secluded cabin befriends an unexpected visitor who helps him with his car troubles. Emperor: starring Tommy Lee Jones and Matthew Fox – As the Japanese surrender at the end of WWII, a general is tasked with deciding if an infamous Emperor will be hanged as a war criminal, while trying to restore order in the war-torn country. Firelight: starring Cuba Gooding Jr. – A counselor at a youth correctional facility employs an unusual tactic in an attempt to get the inmates back on the right track- by enrolling them to be volunteer firefighters. (Drama) (DVD) Trailer Not Available

Hatchet 3: Danielle Harris– A search and recovery team heads into the haunted swamp where they believe they have found the secret to ending a voodoo curse that has been terrorizing the area for decades. (Horror) (DVD)

What Maisie Knew: starring Julianne Moore – In New York City, a young girl is caught in the middle of her parents’ bitter custody battle as they move into new homes and begin new relationships. (Drama) (DVD)

Saints Row 4: One of the most popular game franchises over the last decade returns for its fourth installment. The leader of the Third Street Saints has been elected president of the United States and soon after, an alien invasion takes place. The president and Saints have been kidnapped by ruthless aliens and it is up to you to save them! Available to rent and buy for Playstation 3 and XBOX 360.

Tom Clancy’s Splinter Cell Blacklist: A group of terrorists calling themselves “The Engineers” initiate a terror ultimatum called the Blacklist – a deadly countdown of escalating attacks on the United States at home and abroad. Granted the freedom to do whatever it takes to stop the Blacklist, the player must rush across the US to various cities in an attempt to find out who’s behind this devastating threat.
