THUNDER BAY, ON — The Ministry of Transportation advises the motoring public that the Pic River Bridge on Highway 17, (7.1 km east of Peninsula Road at Marathon) will be temporarily closed to eastbound and westbound traffic for a duration of approximately one (1) hour on Thursday, August 22 between the hours of 10:00 am to 11:00 am. Traffic delays are expected as a result of the closure.
This temporary closure is required to ensure the safety of road users and construction workers while necessary bridge repairs are completed. We apologize for the inconvenience and urge motorists to schedule their trips to avoid the closure.
