GREENSTONE, ON – Thursday, September 26th, Geraldton Composite High School hosted the 2013-14 NWOSSAA Golf Championship at the Kenogamisis Golf Club in Geraldton, ON.  The course was in great shape and the weather was perfect.

The top three schools from each association (SSSAA, NorWOSSAA and NSSSAA) were eligible along with the top 5 individual boys (if they had not already qualified as part of a school team) as well as the top 4 individual girls.  Fifty-seven (57) students including four (4) girls from seventeen (17) schools took part including Ben Kurish and Noah Dunn from host, Geraldton Composite High School.

Congratulations to the Dryden team who won the championship by 22 shots, over St. Patrick.

The Kenogamisis Golf Club has always supported Junior golf and very generously provided discounted green fees for both players and coaches during Wednesday’s practice round as well as carts for the marshals on tournament day.
