SCHREIBER, ON – In this month of November or as we like to call it, Movember, Mr. Fenton generously offered to support prostate cancer by growing out a mustache but our school, Holy Angels, took it a little further. $142 later we had a pink ‘stache on our hands and it was not pretty!

As most know, Movember is a month where men, and sometimes boys, try to grow mustaches to raise awareness and money for prostate cancer. To start off the month, on Movember 8th, Holy Angels Student Council had our 3rd Annual Mustache Drawing Day. For only $1, students received mustaches drawn on their faces; an impressive $40 was raised through the annual initiative making it a great success.  At our second fundraiser on Movember 19th, student council thought of a creative way to raise awareness, we sold chocolate mustaches! There was blond, brown, white and black mustaches in all different shapes and styles!

We raised $102 for the chocolates in addition to the $40 raised on Moustache Drawing Day bringing us past our goal of $125 with a grand total of $142! Holy Angels School would like to send a special thank you out to Mr. Fenton and Dallan Commisso for some great mustaches!
