The 67th Annual Toronto Sportsmen’s Show is less than a week a way and Northern Ontario outdoors enthusiasts planning to attend can look forward to being welcomed by a friendly face!

The 2014 Toronto Sportsmen’s Show is returning to the Direct Energy Centre this weekend, February 6th to 9th. This year’s show is set to be the best yet, featuring hundreds of exhibitors and exciting activities that will entertain, inspire, and deliver the ultimate outdoor experience for enthusiasts of every age.

Sure to be a special highlight for Northshore attendees will be the opportunity to meet, or re-connect with, the host of the Nothing but Outdoors Radio Show featured weekly on CFNO.fm, Manitouwadge native Amanda Mayhew-Hare. Hare returns to the Sportsmen’s Show by popular demand as a show Embassador and as the moderator of an all-female panel of hunters, “Targetting the Huntress” Saturday (Feb.8), at 2pm on the Hunting Hall Stage, who will share their experiences and showcase the growing popularity of hunting among women. Having, in recent years, developed her love for hunting and the outdoors into a career as a celebrity pro hunter and strong advocate for women hunting, Amanda Lynn Mayhew, also takes advantage of opportunities like this one to promote her hometown of Manitouwadge and the Northshore region.  “I still travel back to the Northshore and Manitouwadge regularly to hunt and relish any opportunity to share details of the advantages and enjoyment of hunting these areas” explained Amanda.
