Pre-Engineered Housing Open House
Approximately 40 people turned out for the Open House hosted by the Township of Terrace Bay to answer questions on the pre-engineered housing process. Terrace Bay invited experienced company Northern Superior Structural Solutions to come and educate residents that may be interested. The company showed a variety of options with one of their priced out 3 bedroom models going for $160,000 to start with a 2-3 month turnaround time from order to delivery on a lot in Terrace Bay. Visitors to the Open House seemed impressed by the number of options available and open to the idea of having a new, energy efficient home delivered fully finished. Interest was also shown in some of the 4-plex and 8-plex options the company was displaying. Terrace Bay CAO Jon Hall said “We were pleased with the turn out for the event and thankful of NSSS for coming to visit.
