MARATHON, ON – It was an evening of 1sts at Dyers’ Field Thursday. At the 1st game, Jordan Cottom hit his 1st Homerun of the season as The Kids defeated The Outlaws by a score of 15-6. Ryan McKinnon, who has been on a bit of a Homerun tare of late, went deep again for The Outlaws but it was not enough to fend off the up and coming Kids team. With the win, The Kids improve to 5-8-1 while The Outlaws drop to 4-11-1 .

In the 7:30 game, it was an ‘out-of-towners’ showdown as Mobert faced off against Pic River’s Jagerbombers.  The game was expected to be close and the teams did not disappoint, each recording their 1st tie of the season as Mobert and Jagerbombers played to 13-13. The tie validates their closeness in the standings as more than coincidence; Mobert continues to sit in second place at 12-4-1 while the Jagerbombers are close behind at 11-5-1.
