SCHREIBER, ON – The Student Council at Holy Angels School decided to celebrate Valentine’s Day in a unique way this year; students were able to purchase candy grams for friends at the cost of one dollar each.

The Candygrams were also a fundraiser in addition to allowing students to show each other how much they care, the money raised was donated to Brick by Brick, providing them with a way to show their compassion to our friends in the community of Ngosuani, Kenya.

The candy grams were a hit, with Student Council selling over 350! But a lot of candy grams means a lot of work. Thank you to all members of Student Council who helped put together the candy grams, and a very special thank you to Grade 8 students Jonathan Mayry and Alex Halonen for organizing the event!
