My girl, just looking at this photo fills me with love, joy, pride. xo
Last night, Emeraude & I were flying a kite outside but after Lloyd took off on his skateboard to the grocery store for me, Emeraude decided she would like to ride her skateboard for a while as well. So, we put on her pads & helmet and I started to sweep the driveway as she got to it. It brought back very proud memories of being a little girl and my Dad coming home from work sweeping our street (a few hundred feet of it as the street was paved but around us was field & sand pit) so that I could roller skate without getting tripped up by rocks.
So brave and determined, what a girl.
She was awesome, after I finished sweeping; I couldn’t do the whole thing, I had received an injection for pain which helps alot to allow me to walk normally but defenitely does not take the pain away so there is still only so much I can do, I held her hand while she practiced, the sun was shining and it was just a really, really nice time.
I also have photos from the night prior when Lloyd and a couple friends were skateboarding in the driveway, practicing tricks off the retaining wall between mine & the neighbours driveway, will post those in the morning.
